Coach Riddell- Head Track
Coach Riddell is in his 21st year of coaching, and beginning his seventh year here at Banquete. He is the Defensive Coordinator and Head Track Coach for Banquete ISD. Throughout his 21 year career he has made stops at Port Lavaca, Taft, Karnes City, Burnet, and Palestine ISD. A graduate of Johnson City High School where he was a four year letterman in football, basketball, and baseball as well as a three year letterman in track.
He graduated and attended Hill Junior College on a baseball scholarship before eventually transferring to earn his Bachelor of Science degree specializing in Kinesiology and Health Science from Stephen F Austin State University.
He has been married to his beautiful wife Soluna for 14 years and has two wonderful sons Marc who is in his senior year at Eastern New Mexico State University, and Joseph who is going into his 8th grade year at Banquete Junior High.
Coach Riddell enjoys spending time with his family, fishing and watching the Texas A&M Aggies as well as all college football, BBQing.
