ImageDoing a project or research paper - Need Help?

Nowadays when a student goes home or to the library for information on the web they go directly to the search engines. Search engines such as:Yahoo and Google. But are they safe! I Just heard something outrageous and would like to share it with you. Your child comes home gets on the computer - she has a paper due on octopus - right away she googles Octopus and a whole lot of listing appear. Hhmm which one to choose there are sooo many. She clicks on the fourth one listed "Save the Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus" sounds interesting wow an octopus tree. The website appears to be authentic it talks about scientists study, maps, and photos and there is also sightings. For reasons such as this we encourage students to use databases-they are free to use, safe, informative, and there are no advertisements anywhere on the pages.
